well been busy!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have lost 4 pounds so far and it is not easy but I am watching everything I eat. I have recipe that is really good. It is a brown rice & vegetable stir fry.


serves 6

3 cups cooked brown rice (instant is good just make certain cold)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 small purple onion chopped
1/2 bell pepper chopped
16 ounces frozen stir fry vegetables
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce

1. Heat oil then add onion, bell pepper, and frozen vegetables. Stir until frozen vegetable thawed out and warm.
2. Add rice and stir till warm through.
3 Add soy sauce and stir to mix through,

Serve with baked chicken or backed fish.

Very filling and will really stick to your ribs.

Can we get started?????

Hi!!!!!!!!

My family is like so many others in America or as far as that goes in the world. We are always on the go and we eat the wrong things and we are over weight. We are not just a little over weight we are obese..... I need to loose 100, my husband 200, and my daughter 75. We have started diet after diet and followed every plan imaginable. So now I am going to have to take drastic measures to try and get this weight off of everyone. We are just like 95% of the people in America when we get home we sit down and do nothing but watch TV or surf the internet or play the playstation. Nothing to help us. And then there are the foods we eat. I know I am in control of what we eat at home but I can't be with everyone through the day when they choose the wrong foods....... I don't think that surgery is the answer to everyone who is obese just some. Myself and my husband have lost weight before me 40 and him 50 but we didn't stay with it we got discouraged when the weight stopped coming off as fast as before. So here we are again.


I am starting this blog in hopes of getting encouragement and recipe ideas. I will share ones that we try that are good. I hope to here from each of you with suggestions on things that have worked for you.
